Home Parties
Saturday, February 13th, 2010 | Ads, Events, eNews | No Comments
Hey Everyone–
We have an exciting new event that we will be starting this year! Every month or so, we will be having a home party. A home party is a get together at someone’s house where we will have the opportunity to further inspire each other to be involved in ministry. We will also enjoy refreshments and fellowship. All Christians are called to spread the gospel, and home parties will serve as a tool in educating people about new ways they can fulfill the great commission. We don’t necessarily want people to give to us at Faith 2 Faith, so we can do the work ourselves. Instead, our desire is for the church to see the need for Christ in Connecticut and around the world and inspire them to do something about it!
The first home party of this year will be on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm at Tom’s house. Please email me at julie@f2fmi.org if you are interested in attending this upcoming event or if you would like to open your house to be used for an upcoming home party.

Help Us Bring the Band!
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 | Ads, Blogging, UK, eNews | 1 Comment

This March, f2fmi and The Lifefaqs Foundation will launch our most aggressive mission in Southeastern Connecticut to date. Touring schools, group homes, youth groups and churches, Twelve24 will bring their message and music to teens throughout our region. Twelve24 will confront issues that teenagers face today by using their message and personal stories to influence the choices that young people are making. Bookings are coming in left and right and we expect to do more than 15 different missions during the week.
However, all this cannot happen without your help! We need to get the band here and the goal is to raise $2,500 for their airfare this month. Will you help us make history in Southeastern Connecticut? Give your gift today of any amount and it will be applied directly to the airfare of the band.
Click HERE to give a 1x gift through the Lifefaqs Foundation (Paypal) and be a part of bringing Twelve24 for their first USA appearance!
You can also send your check by mail and make it payable to:

$3k Match for Overtime!
Thursday, October 8th, 2009 | Ads, Events, Prayer Requests, eNews | 1 Comment
Dear Friends,
Overtime is less than 48 hours away and we have received an exciting challenge to make our event even more successful. The Cecil B. Day Foundation has offered us a matching $3,000 grant. In other words, if you can help us raise $3,000 within our network, then they will match every single dollar!
Overtime serves teens in Southeastern Connecticut. This is our 5th anniversary and God has truly blessed Overtime and more than 400 teens registered to date. Dozens are registering every day. Would you help us reach our goal?
I am so excited about Overtime ‘09! With Paul Ramey and Out of Hiding bringing the worship, and Nate Parks (from Camp Berea) delivering a message of hope, how could this not be the best year we have ever had? Help us make it great! Click here to donate. If you’d like to sponsor a non-Christian student directly to attend, read more about Sponsoring a Student.
Thanks in advance for helping us make Overtime ‘09 the most memorable event in our region’s history. More importantly, thank you for helping us strike a crushing blow to Satan and his kingdom of darkness!
Love in Jesus,
Tom & Amy
& the f2fmi team
