WATERFORD, CT — Tom Miyashiro is set to re-release his debut book, Schizophrenic. “The idea came about when I started working with the Lifefaqs Foundation.” Miyashiro said. “I want to be able to take my story in to school and inspire students to make positive decisions with their lives and most importantly, to live passionately and intentionally.”

Remember what it was like during those awkward teenage years? In Schizophrenic, author Tom Miyashiro recalls the difficulties and confusion of his adolescence. In a quest to discover his own identity, Tom describes the hurt, frustration and pain that he experienced leading up to a personal spiritual awakening. He hopes his story will inspire readers to take the same leap of faith and make decisions that will positively affect the course of their own journeys.
TOM MIYASHIRO is an author, speaker and radio personality. He has a passion for making a difference in the lives of teenagers and has dedicated his life to this purpose. As a community activist and student mobilizer, Tom believes in transforming communities through investing in emerging generations. Tom is the founder of f2fmi and the Schools Work Coordinator for the Lifefaqs Foundation. He is married to Amy and between the USA and the UK (where Amy is from), finally settled in Waterford, Connecticut.
Tom plans to re-release his book locally April 1st, 2010. The re-release is strategically placed on the coat tails of his schools week with the LifeFAQs and in time for Easter 2010.
